Chris Mawdsley

I began my career as the assistant professional at the Hillside Golf Club later moving to Windermere as head coach to the National Sports Council. I spent the next few years as the head professional at the Knott End Golf Club before moving firstly to Italy then to Austria and Germany along the way coaching both Elite and Club players. I have twice pre-qualified for the British Open and whilst in Italy had several individual Pro-Am victories, I am still an active player. Two of my pupils have made the final stages of Tour School and both have competed on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, Alps Tour and Sunshine Tour. In 2011 I achieved Fellow Membership of the PGA GB & IRE.

David Lloyd

By the age of eight I was already playing golf and was a junior member of Holyhead Golf Club. In 1966 I moved to Formby Golf Club as an assistant professional, leaving some 5 years later to take up my first head professional position at Hindley Hall Golf Club in Wigan.

1974 saw a move to West Lancashire Golf Club where I remained for some twenty three years before joining the Formby Hall Golf Resort in 1997. I joined Formby Golf Centre in 2007.
